We are situated in Mugu district-around periphery of Rara lake. The first hotel Rara Eco Resort I is 800 m (walking distance 15 mins.) away from Rara Lake and Rara Eco Resort II is situated at Murma top 2-3 hrs. away from lake side.
The resort architect is of wooden and pagoda style. These wooden houses were designed by the local architects and carpenters. Rara Resort II is the extended branch of Rara Resort I, in order to enlarge the concept of trekking and stay in the extreme exile away from civilization one must visit Rara Eco Resort II. You won’t find any community around the area as this hotel was designed with the concept of to trek to the top and stay on away in the jungle. The hotel is literally in the top of mountain surrounded by jungle. You can taste the purest nature, sunrise and sun set (golden Hour), The lush green deep hills (Chhaya Nath, Chankheli Himal, the white mountains (Dolpa, Humla), deep Pine and Rhodendron forest, the best lake view from the room. The dinning faces directly to the lake which is too beautiful.The best locating for site seeing of entire mugu district in panaromic view. The dimension of the view is actually complex-the view looks like a painting. You can come and experience yourself. One can reach the breathtaking Rara Eco Resort II situated at an altd. of 3550 above m. From this vantage point, the whole magnificent panoramic view of Rara Lake unfolds, along with Kanjirowa Himal, Sisne Himal, Koiki Himal, Chankheli Himal, Chhayannath Temple, Tibet, Karnali River, Humla, Jamla, Kalikot, Dolpa, and parts of the far-western region. The panoramic mountain ranges also offer glimpses of Saipal range, Khaptad, Badimalika, Bajura, Achham, Bajhang, and Darchula districts. Tourists often express that their Tour (Trek) to Rara would be incomplete without hiking to Murma Top.
