You can fly from Kathmandu towards Nepalgunj Airport and then stopover for a night and fly towards Talcha Airport which is located in Mugu. Rara lake Tour by flight is the best and easy way to explore the lake.Once you reach the airport, you can hike towards to lake which takes approx 2 hours to reach.

Explore the lake and the natural beauty of Rara Lake and spend a couple of nights there. Then again hike back to the airport and fly back to Nepaljung. Only a small 16 seater plane from Nepalgunj to Talcha so small groups are recommended for the Rara lake tour by flight.

Rara Lake, which changes color in an instant, is also famous as a lake where you can find fish of different species that are not found anywhere else in the world. The main attraction for Rara is not only the Rara lake but also the different types of flowers, plants, wild animals found in the park and Murma village near the lake.

Itinerary

1. Welcome in Kathmandu.
We offer best hotel service in Kathmandu. Dinner service is on us.
2. City Tour
City tour in Kathmandu Valley. Pashupatinath templeBaudhha Stupa.Swayambhu Stupa. Patan Durbar Squar.Bhaktapur Durbar Squar etc.
3. Fly to Nepalgunj
You will fly from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj today and spend your night in Nepalgunj. Morning flights are only available to Talcha so we need to wait for the next morning. Exploring the town by yourself. (Overnight Stay in 3Star hotel in Nepalgunj).
4. Nepalgunj to Talcha airport
Morning transfer to Nepalgunj airport where short flight 45 minutes lands you at Talcha,small airstrip and then short walk to Talcha town. Drive to Milichaur-Trek to Rara Eco Resort. Overnight stay in Rara Eco Resort i.
5. Talcha to Murmatop
Rara Explore, Murma Village visit & Hike to Murmatop, Only best view point of Rara from Murmatop. (Overnight stay in Rara Eco resort ii)
6. Murmatop To Rara lake
Wake up early and have your breakfast. You will have a full day to explore around the Rara lake. During the day you can also take a hike to Murma Top. If you are not a hiker but still want to reach Murma top then you can also use horse ride service to Murma top and back to Rara lake. The hike to Murma Top will take about 2-3 hours. Situated at an elevation of 3,675 meters above sea level, you can have astonishing views of Rara lake, mountain ranges as well as other valleys. Besides that, during the day you can also hike around the Rara lake or experience boating around the Rara lake. Overnight on tented accommodation. (Over stay in Rara Eco Resort i)
7. Back Talcha to Kathmandu
Trek to Milichaur, Drive Talcha airport by Jeep and then board in a domestic aircraft for a short scenic flight to Nepalgunj, on reaching at Nepalgunj then connect flight back to Kathmandu. On arrival at Kathmandu domestic air-terminal transfer back to your hotel, with time in the afternoon for individual activities and shopping.
8. Final departure.
Depature in Nepal in the country of amazing Himalaya blended with colorful culture, as per your time for international flight our staff, guide transfer you to the airport for final departures home-ward after a memorable experience and adventure on Rara Lake Journey.
